WHAT IS GREEN?
Green products are commonly categorised by the ingredients and manufacturing process used in their production. Our Protectus Viridis formulation is safe for use in food preparation areas and 100% biodegradable.

RESIDUAL PROTECTION
During application, ProtectUs crystallises on surfaces, enabling it to remain active in a dried state. This barrier has been proven to remain intact for at least 24 hours in mild abrasion environments and up to 7 days in untouched areas.

Unlike traditional alcohol based disinfectants, ProtectUs solutions continue working when dry, protecting your environment between cleaning cycles.

SUPER EFFECTIVE
Where other brands reach 99.9% effectiveness, ProtectUs goes significantly better, reaching 99.999%, the level where the most harmful bacteria are found. With ProtectUs, RBT have harnessed the strong biocidal properties of natural ingredients whilst remaining non toxic and kind on the environment.

RBT solutions have undergone a variety of tests at some of the world's leading independent laboratories including Campden BRI, BluTest and Brill + Steinman. Results have demonstrated that ProtectUs meets bacteria, virus and fungi tests against 5 EN standards for a broad spectrum of organisms.

How we do it?

Animals and plants are multicellular organisms where the single cell is protected by its neighbours. Membrane active antimicrobials applied at micro or nano concentrations might affect a single cell at the organism’s periphery but will never affect the whole organism.

Bacteria on the other hand are single cells but can live in greater communities - so called biofilms. The cell membrane of bacteria is their most important protective shield against the environment, our products have been developed to rupture these biofilms so the organisms bleed out leaving them unable to reproduce.
